A Library Technology-Related Blog Of Interest

A blog that has taken my interest is ResearchBuzz - "Covering search engines, databases, and other online information collections since 1996". http://researchbuzz.me/

I like the way this blogger writes, as the text is short, pithy and to the point. The links are very interesting and cover a lot of different cutting-edge topics. It keeps me up to date with recent news and developments, such as the decision by Google to shut down Google Reader. A terrible decision, in my humble opinion.

It really is a 'buzz' blog full of bite-sized information bits and pieces of topical content, very relevant to our course and future careers as information managers.

  1. Hey thanks for the link to ResearchBuzz - a blog I can actually read because the posts are short. I've struggled reading most of the blogs from the suggested list cos I look at the articles and I'm just like TLDR.

  2. Haha! Yes I'm a bit the same, so the snappy presentation of ResearchBuzz is excellent for quickly seeing what you want to read and what you don't. I like the succinct way it just gets to the point of things, and then you have the freedom to go and research your interests more if you want to. Enjoy!
